December carries a unique energy. As the year draws to a close, the world can feel both intensely bright and deeply overwhelming. Many people are feeling the weight of the collective awakening—the rise of sensitivity, truth, and spiritual awareness—while also navigating holidays, responsibilities, and global uncertainty.

This month’s Words of Wisdom is a guided meditation to ground your light, helping you root into the Earth, calm your nervous system, and remember your soul purpose in an awakening world.

“We are not merely existing; we are becoming co-creators of a world filled with love and light.”

What Is December’s Sacred Awakening?

December’s energy often invites stillness, reflection, and inner listening. At the same time, collective emotions can feel amplified—grief, joy, hope, fear, and everything in between.

December’s sacred awakening is an inner invitation to:

  • Pause and reconnect with your soul

  • Notice what truly matters beneath the noise

  • Remember that you are a luminous being of light, not just a personality moving through a busy month

  • Align your choices with your deeper purpose as we move into a new year

This is not about perfection or bypassing what is difficult. It’s about bringing loving awareness and grounded presence into your real, everyday life.

Why Grounding Your Spiritual Light Matters Now

As more people awaken spiritually, many experience:

  • Feeling overwhelmed by the world’s energy

  • Heightened sensitivity, anxiety, or overstimulation

  • A sense of being “in the clouds,” disconnected from the body

  • Confusion about their soul purpose in a rapidly changing world

In this collective awakening, your system may be holding more light, more insight, and more spiritual awareness than ever before. Without grounding, that light can feel like too much—like you’re carrying intense energy without a stable container.

Grounding your spiritual light means:

  • Bringing your awareness back into your body

  • Connecting with the Earth as a stabilizing, loving ally

  • Allowing divine light to flow through your nervous system in a way that supports you, rather than overwhelms you

When you are grounded, you can show up with clarity, love, and steady presence—for yourself, your loved ones, and the world around you.

Practice 1: Ground Your Light into Your Body and the Earth

One of the core practices in this guided meditation is anchoring your light into your body and into the Earth.

How to Practice

  1. Find a comfortable seat.
Sit with your feet on the floor or crossed on a cushion. Let your spine be long but relaxed.
  2. Breathe with intention.
Take slow, gentle breaths. Imagine your inhale as a white, divine light moving into your heart and chest.
  3. Imagine roots from your body.
Visualize roots extending from your feet, tailbone, or the base of your spine, traveling down into the Earth. Let them move through soil, rock, and crystal, all the way into the warm, steady center of the Earth.
  4. Feel the support beneath you.
With each exhale, imagine any stress or scattered energy traveling down these roots to be lovingly composted by the Earth. With each inhale, imagine nourishing, grounding energy rising back up into your body.
  5. Repeat a grounding affirmation:

“I am here. I am held. I am grounded in love.”

Practicing this regularly helps your nervous system feel safe enough to hold more light, insight, and intuitive guidance.

Practice 2: Activate Your Inner Vision and Third Eye

In the meditation, Ragan guides you to work with your third eye—the energetic center connected to inner vision, intuition, and seeing truth beyond fear.

When your inner vision is activated and grounded, you can:

  • See your life with more clarity and compassion

  • Receive guidance for the next steps on your soul path

  • Envision a future you are consciously co-creating, rather than passively enduring

How to Practice

  1. Stay grounded first.
Begin with Practice 1 so you’re anchored in your body and the Earth.

  2. Bring awareness to your forehead.
Gently place your attention on the space between your eyebrows (the third eye area). You can softly rest a finger there for a moment to help focus.

  3. Visualize light at the third eye.
Imagine a small point of indigo or white light at your third eye, glowing gently. With every breath, it becomes clearer and more luminous—never overwhelming, just steady and kind.

  4. Ask a simple question:

    • “Show me the next loving step for my soul purpose.”

    • “How can I serve from my heart in this awakening world?”

  5. Receive without forcing.
Let images, feelings, or words arise naturally. They may come as subtle impressions, not dramatic visions. Trust the gentleness.

This third eye activation is not about seeing the entire future. It’s about receiving enough clarity to take your next step with love and courage.

Practice 3: Align Your Daily Life with Your Soul Purpose

Grounding and vision are powerful—but they’re meant to touch your daily life.

In the meditation, you’re invited to view different areas of your life—home, work, health, relationships—through the eyes of your soul. This is where conscious sovereignty begins: choosing your life from a place of alignment, not automatic habit.

Reflection Questions

After the meditation, take a few minutes to journal on:

  • Home:
What small shift would make my home feel more nurturing and peaceful?

  • Work / Service:
What is one way I can bring more heart, presence, or integrity into my work?

  • Body / Health:
What does my body need to feel more supported and grounded this month?

  • Relationships:
Where am I being invited to forgive, soften, or love more deeply—while still honoring my boundaries?

Choose one inspired action in each area, even if it’s very small. This is how you begin to co-create your future, rather than feel pushed around by it.

Practice 4: Release Fear, Invite Love, and Co-Create a Brighter Future

Ragan also speaks to releasing fear and doubt and saying “yes” to what your soul is calling you toward.

In an awakening world, it’s easy to focus on what’s broken. This meditation helps you remember:

  • You are part of a collective sky of luminous souls

  • Your presence, healing, and courage truly matter

  • Every moment of grounding, forgiveness, and inner alignment contributes to a more loving world

Simple Co-Creation Ritual

After listening to the meditation:

  1. Place a hand on your heart.

  2. Speak your intention out loud, beginning with:

    “I choose to co-create a future rooted in…”
(love, truth, compassion, clarity, service—whatever feels true for you.)

  3. End with an affirmation:

“It is all here now. It is done.”

Repeat this daily or weekly throughout December as part of your sacred practice.

Integrating December’s Guided Meditation to Ground Your Light

This guided meditation to ground your light is more than a one-time experience. It’s a tool you can return to whenever you feel:

  • Disconnected from your body

  • Overwhelmed by the collective energy

  • Unsure of your next steps

  • Hungry for deeper connection with your soul

Here are a few ways to integrate it:

  • Listen at least once a week during December.

  • Create a small sacred space—a candle, journal, and comfortable seat—so your body associates this meditation with safety and peace.
