The Thomson Global Impact Fund is born from a single, sacred truth: No mud, no lotus.
The world itself is the mud—an immense living being dense with roots, memory, and possibility. Within that shared ground we are held: people, systems, cultures, and stories layered together, fertile and alive. Rooted in my work as a spiritual teacher, the Fund turns inward practice into outward tending—supporting fellow travelers in healing, learning, and flourishing—so that struggle and beauty are braided into the same movement toward wholeness. We kneel into this global mud not to escape or salvage it, but to catalyze its supreme intelligence.

With tenderness, great care and discernment, the Thomson Global Impact Fund partners collaboratively with initiatives that nurture growth from within: education that awakens curiosity, healing that clears ancestral and systemic burdens, and leadership that knits communities into co-creative networks. The Art of Elysium
Ragan Thomson comes from a very humanitarian and philanthropic family. From an early age, she was passionate about helping others, which drove her to participate in her family’s non-profit as well as her own giving work.
Although she has been involved with many charities throughout the years, her most important involvement is with “The Art of Elysium”, where artists dedicate time to children in hospitals.
At 27 years old, she helped them with a no-strings-attached check, which has helped them become LA’s most “hot” non-profit today, and to this day she is on the board of the charity and donating and helping them raise money every year.
Ragan says that her experience as a volunteer is one of the most important things she has ever done in life:
“I feel like a bolt of lightning has come through me when I do this kind of charity work. Soul Work.”
World Systems Solutions
Between 2020 and 2025, Ragan served as Chairperson of the Board at World Systems Solutions, collaborating with a global network of inspiring leaders to support climate emergency initiatives through crucial fundraising and visionary projects.
Within WSS, Ragan offered spiritual guidance through the Healing Hub and supported various teams, including Conscious Parenting, Educational Design, Women’s Empowerment Workshop Development, and the Mantra Team.
Her contributions were guided by Spirit and rooted in her commitment to creating a compassionate, healing-centered foundation for planetary transformation.
BE Human Initiative
The work of The Thomson Global Impact Fund includes a special focus on the next generation. In partnership with blank space collaborative and the BE Human initiative, the Fund supports and celebrates youth-led visions for wellbeing, compassion, and conscious leadership in the age of AI.
The BE Human initiative will collect and share stories from young people who are redefining leadership through empathy, creativity, and connection. Ragan and the Thomson Global Impact Fund will launch a BE Human Impact Award spotlighting young visionaries bridging technology and humanity to create health, peace, and joy in our world.
The Sophia Wisdom Foundation
Through the Thomson Global Impact Fund, Ragan is honored to continue the support of The Sophia Wisdom Foundation and The Sophia School of Living Arts with a gift toward building the retreat facility in Austin, Texas. A master of Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), this partnership supports Sonya Sophias’ mission to bring wisdom, unconditional love, laughter, and life-changing release to people around the globe. Together they have a shared mission to help humanity heal.
